The art of letting go

Release control and allow life to unfold in its own beautiful way

"Life is a dance between making it happen and letting it happen."

- Arianna Huffington

Living into your purpose is about doing what brings you joy — those activities that make time disappear and fill your heart with happiness. Once you've identified your core values and passions, and navigated any barriers, the next essential step is to release control and allow life to unfold in its own beautiful way.

As Gabby Bernstein beautifully puts it, “The universe has your back. Trust that everything is working out for you, even when it feels uncertain.” This is a powerful reminder that while we may have dreams and desires, the path to realizing them is often winding and unpredictable. It’s easy to get caught up in how we think things should happen, but true magic lies in embracing the journey and letting go of the need to force outcomes.

When we resist or cling too tightly to our expectations, we create unnecessary tension. Instead, open your heart and allow yourself to be surprised by what unfolds. Trust that each step you take brings you closer to your purpose, even if the direction isn’t always clear. Every twist and turn is an opportunity for growth and discovery.

Focus on taking one small step each day, keeping your vision clear, and infusing your actions with love and intention. Remember, the universe is working in your favor — so embrace the journey, breathe through the moments of uncertainty, and allow life to guide you.

Trust that everything is unfolding as it should and find joy in the process. Your purpose is waiting for you and every day is a new chance to step into it with an open heart.

Remember

  • Embrace Your Joy: Living your purpose means engaging in activities that bring you genuine happiness and make time fly. Identify and pursue what fills your heart with joy.

  • Trust the Process: Release the need for control and allow life to unfold naturally. As Gabby Bernstein says, "The universe has your back." Acknowledge uncertainty as part of the journey.

  • Your Journey is Unique: Remember that finding your purpose is a personal journey. There's no set timeline or "right" way to discover it. The process of seeking is just as valuable as the destination.

At rooh, we want to remind you that each person's journey to finding purpose is uniquely their own. Some people discover their purpose early in life, while others may take decades to uncover it. And the path to purpose can vary greatly — sometimes it’s straightforward, while other times it’s filled with detours and explorations.

Remember, the search for purpose isn’t a competition or a race. It’s about how you choose to internalize and reflect on your journey. By embracing the uniqueness of your own path and being mindful of the pressures and expectations you place on yourself, you can navigate the journey to purpose with greater ease and fulfillment. The process of seeking and questioning is just as meaningful as the purpose itself.
